Explore the closest places to stay near Epic Universe

Many people may not realize that Epic Universe, Universal Orlando’s newest theme park, is actually located four miles from Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and CityWalk. If you stay at any of the Universal resort hotels, you will have a complimentary shuttle to any of the Universal theme parks, however, if you want to specifically stay close to Epic Universe you still have many great options. Let’s take a look!

Universal Orlando Hotels

There are three hotels that were built specifically for Epic Universe and these are the closest that you can get. you absolutely cannot get any closer than Universal Helios Grand Hotel which offers a dedicated entrance to the theme park, beautiful views from the rooftop bar and Mediterranean theming throughout.

The other two, Stella Nova and Terra Luna feature a space theme and are very similar in style. The benefit of Stella Nova is that there is a convenient walkway directly to Epic Universe. Both hotels have a pool, a bar and a quick-service restaurant. Stella Nova features a kid’s splash pad while Terra Luna has a large hot tub.

Additional Universal Orlando resort hotels are located closer to the other Universal parks but do offer complimentary shuttle to Epic Universe. These include: Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Sapphire Falls, Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Aventura Hotel and Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. In addition to shuttles, some hotels offer ferry transportation to CityWalk.

An additional fantastic benefit to staying at a Universal Resorts hotel is early park entry allowing you to enter the Universal theme parks one hour before the general public.

Loews Sapphire Falls

Finally, there are two Universal value resorts that are located in between Epic Universe and the additional parks - Endless Summer Dockside Inn and Suites and Endless Summer Surfside Inn and Suites. Although they are not as convenient as the other Universal Orlando hotels, they provide an economical option and complimentary shuttle to all theme parks.

Although staying at a Universal Resort hotel provides some fantastic benefits, there are additional hotels that are very close to Epic Universe.

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Las Palmeras

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Las Palmeras is approximately two miles away from Epic Universe and provides great accommodations for a very reasonable price. Both standard rooms and suites are available making this hotel a great choice for families.

Vista Cay by Millenium

Vista Cay by Millenium is a condo-style vacation rental resort located approximately one and half miles from Epic Universe. It features luxurious 2 & 3 bedroom, 2 bath condominiums to 3 bedroom townhomes with full kitchens. In addition, Vista Cay offers additional amenities such as a resort pool, fire pit, splash pad and fitness center. A Publix is conveniently located next door.

Rosen Shingle Creek

Rosen Shingle Creek is a large well-established resort with a golf course, spa and pool. Here you will find one of the top restaurants in Orlando, A Land Remembered, as well many other onsite restaurants. It is located less than two miles from Epic Universe.

Hilton Orlando - Since Epic Universe is located very close to Orange County Convention Center, you will find an abundance hotels but one of the closest is Hilton Orlando. This large hotels features a fantastic pool with a lazy river and some great restaurants.

Villatel Orlando Resort

Villatel Orlando Resort - Although not the closest, we have to mention one of the newest resorts, Villatel Orlando Resort. This large resort is located close to I-Drive and Universal Studios and offers large villas making it great for families or longer stays. In addition there are some fantastic amenities including a lazy river, resort pool and restaurants.
